-The work is handmade
Bichromate gum is a 19th century photographic printing process based on the light sensitivity of dichromates. It allows pictorial images to be obtained from photographic negatives. Gum printing is traditionally a multi-layer printing process, but satisfactory results can be obtained with a single pass. Any colour can be used for rubber printing, so it is also possible to produce natural colour photographs using this layered technique.
In this work I have used two layers of bichromate gum.
Image format: 45x45 cm on 250 gsm canson watercolour paper.
