When I first visited the Carpathians in winter, I was surprised that the snow is actually not white but colored. This snow reflects both the sun and the sky, painting it in a variety of shades. This picture of colored trees is observed by the dog, faithfully guarding the mountains from unexpected guests. The picture is made with oil paints on linen canvas using a palette knife.
