Handmade Reduction Linocut Print.
This work was created from a simple but deep feeling:
that everyone carries light within.
Guardian of the Light is about protection, gentleness, and the conscious choice to keep choosing love and goodness — even when things feel dark. Not a light outside ourselves, but the quiet light that already lives inside.
This piece was printed from a single linoleum plate in 28 layers of colour, each layer irreversible, each step asking for trust and presence. The faces were hand-painted, giving every print its own subtle expression and soul.
Alongside this artwork, I created a song with the same title — Guardian of the Light — to share what I felt while making this piece. Image and sound carry the same message: a reminder of inner light, stillness, and awareness.
