Original artwork description
This green vase belonged to my Granny and is one of my favourite objects. In this painting I wanted to bring together the pinks of the peonies with the clashing orange of the fruit. I used the blue glass to harmonise the colours. I have used Michael Harding oil paints and a linen canvas.
The painting is in a bespoke frame which is plain in colour to set off the vibrancy of the painting.
