"Gentle river Loire", watercolor and oil pastels on special mixed media heavy paper "Sennelier Carte d'Art", 14,5X20,5 cm
An abstract landscape, inspired by the place where I live, on the shore of the magestic Loire river, in Touraine (the King's Valley). Stratifications of the shore, the riverside, the limestone hillside, the hills and the cloudy sky. Here, is an interpretation with soft and sweet colors such pink, ocher and pale blue !
The artwork is mounted on an artists cardboard Contrecollé Canson, and mounted under a white Bristol paper, 24X30cm. So, there's a white margin surrounding the artwork and it is easy and ready to frame.
