“Young at Heart” (2023) is an intimate original oil portrait on Canson canvas‑paper (28.5 × 21 cm), signed on back of work. In this piece, once again I explore the subtle tension between youthful curiosity and timeless innocence. Using layered oil washes, I tried to recreate delicate skin tones and soft textures, letting the subject’s steady look evoke nostalgia. This portrait continues my exploration of human emotion and expression, carried through the gentle play between shadow and light.
