Part of an ongoing series of cat paintings capturing their humour and curiosity with imaginative and slightly surreal scenes. This particular series focuses on the Greek islands environments and the cats often found there. This series also has a colour theme of Bluey/purple mid ground colours, with strong contrasts of light and shadow.
My work is defined by thoughtful composition, visual storytelling and a playful yet deliberate tone. Rendered with a naturalistic detail, the cats appear absorbed in their surroundings.
