Part of an ongoing series of cat paintings capturing their humour and curiosity. This particular series focuses on the high contrast of highlights, brightness and dark shadows, with a blue/purple mid ground. The environments are all in Greek like sunny locations, tropical islands or warm climates where cats are often found en masse, lurking and sleeping.
