Original artwork description
A friend of mine from Greece once told me of a story where the Greek islands used to be colourful, like a work of art. Then one day, a Greek governor sailed by and was annoyed by the sight so he ordered all buildings to be white-washed with lime and gypsum for hygiene regions. And that’s how the Cyclades Islands became the brand we know and love today!
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary wooden frame which has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting measures 26 x 18 inches (66.04 x 45.72 cm).
All paintings are professionally wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and are shipped with tracking and insurance.
