Original artwork description
This is my second painting of Gordon. I met Gordon in 2018 and my first painting The Red Road shows Gordon in a more thoughtful pose. Gordon is First Nation and he left Canada for the UK 10 years ago with dreams of being a musician and artist. He found opportunities hard to find and eventually he ended up homeless on the streets of London. Despite all his problems he remains full of joy and hope and a beacon of light.
