Original artwork description
Small study for a larger picture. I wanted to become aware of the masses of color for the body and the empty spaces, and of the palette.
This is done with a first layer of orange gesso primer, then a charcoal drawing, and then I finished it with oil painting. So you can clearly see the charcoal signs.
