Original artwork description
This is a frontal view of the Canal Grande near Ponte dell Accademia; in the background, the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute is silhouetted at twilight. On foreground the gondolas stations and waterways made by the traditional, thick and colorful wooden poles which you can see all over the lagoon. This piece is on 300gm watercolor paper with deckled edges and a white border; Made in Studio after several watercolor sketches made on site during a trip in 2018 by Maximilian Damico, watercolor international teacher; on paper watercolor Saunders Waterford 300 gsm rough.
