This series represents a creative mix of my recent works in 2 seemingly different styles: "Abstract Art" and "Sportsmen in Gold". While being conceptually different in style both of them have one basic thing in common - Simplicity of idea represented in Shape and Position in the "Abstract Art" series and in Clarity of Intention or Focus reflected in the "Sportsmen in Gold" series.
I was inspired by Russian constructivism Malevich, Rothko and works by a famous Soviet Era painter- Dеineko and Samokhvalov, depicting sportsmen.
