Original artwork description
Golden swirls is a fluid art painting using cotton canvas, Amsterdam Acrylics, Floetrol and water. The paint is blown across the wet surface of the canvas using a hairdryer, mouth or straw to created a swirling effect. This painting has two colours of negative space to create a more complex composition. The cells pop up as and where they see fit and as the paint makes its way across the canvas it flows over the edge, making the sides of the canvas part of the composition.
