Original artwork description
A small watercolour of four beautiful Sake cups that I bought because of the fine decoration. For this painting I used gold pigments on the patterns which sparkle depending on the lighting and position of the spectator._x000D_
The background was painted with Antwerp blue._x000D_

Getting back to one of my favourite compositions, taking the subject out of context and putting them in a line, so that I can concentrate on the colours and shadows and giving the simple subject the attention they wouldn't normally get._x000D_
