Golden Meridian is an original contemporary abstract painting from my Golden Horizons collection, created in 2026. This one-of-a-kind artwork explores the balance between architectural structure and quiet atmosphere, combining geometric forms with layered textures to create a composition that feels both powerful and calming.

While creating this painting, I imagined the invisible horizon that exists between order and freedom. I wasn't interested in painting a landscape or a building. Instead, I wanted to capture the feeling of standing inside a contemporary architectural space where light, shadow, and geometry slowly merge into one harmonious composition. Every layer became a dialogue between precision and spontaneity.

The composition developed naturally through multiple layers of professional acrylic paint applied with palette knives, brushes, scraping techniques, and expressive textural mark-making. Rich overlapping surfaces create exceptional depth, while transparent glazes and subtle tonal transitions allow the painting to transform throughout the day as natural light moves across the canvas.

A sophisticated palette of ivory white, warm beige, taupe, soft greige, stone grey, charcoal black, espresso brown, and luminous metallic gold creates a timeless contemporary aesthetic. The gold accents interact beautifully with changing light, introducing warmth and elegance without dominating the composition. Neutral architectural tones provide balance and make the painting highly versatile within modern interiors.

Although entirely abstract, Golden Meridian often evokes contemporary architecture, city skylines reflected in glass, minimalist interiors, layered stone, weathered concrete, and distant horizons. Every collector discovers a different visual narrative, allowing the artwork to remain personal while retaining its architectural sophistication.

Designed as a statement artwork, this large contemporary painting is ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, entrance halls, executive offices, luxury residences, boutique hotels, reception spaces, and designer interiors. The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube. This method is particularly safe for oversized works and ensures lower transport costs. Rolled works may be easily stretched upon arrival (placed on wooden stretchers for canvases) and/or framed by a local framer.
