This diptych was born from my fascination with contrast—where soft blush tones meet deep blue and charcoal, and a thin line of gold cuts through the composition like a quiet pulse of energy.
Each canvas (50 × 70 cm) is painted in acrylic on stretched canvas, layered with textured brushwork and palette knife details. I built the surface gradually, allowing the pigments—dusty pink, muted lavender, deep teal blue, warm beige, and rich black—to interact and overlap naturally. The gold accents are not just decorative; they create direction, movement, and a sense of connection between the two pieces.
As I worked, I was drawn to the feeling of expansion—like light breaking through dense layers, opening space and creating depth. The textures catch the light differently throughout the day, making the artwork feel alive and constantly evolving.
This set is designed to transform a space—perfect for modern, contemporary, Japandi, or minimalist interiors. It works beautifully above a console, sofa, or bed, bringing both softness and structure into the room.
