This large neutral gold abstract diptych from my Golden Horizons series explores structure, light, and the quiet power of contrast. Created as two connected canvases, each piece stands on its own, yet together they form a deeper, more expansive visual narrative.

I worked with acrylic on canvas, building rich texture through palette knife and layered brushwork. The composition is defined by intersecting vertical and horizontal elements, where soft blue-grey, warm beige, ivory, and earthy brown tones meet luminous gold accents. These gold details catch the light and shift throughout the day, adding depth, warmth, and a sense of refined luxury.

Each canvas reflects a slightly different rhythm — one more grounded and textured, the other more open and luminous — creating a dialogue between the two works. This interplay gives the diptych a dynamic presence, making it ideal as a large statement artwork for contemporary interiors.
