This painting was inspired by the shape and colours of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco. The sun is setting casting shapes and brilliant oranges and yellows in the river. The iconic Bridge is standing out in its brilliant red. And the colour red is beautifully silhouetted against the skyline contrasting against the evening sky. This is one of a series of bridges in the US. This is a beautiful sunset painted in oils.
