Artwork description
Golden Fields is a hand-carved reduction linocut print that captures the gentle rise and fall of cultivated land bathed in soft evening light. Inspired by the patchwork landscapes around the Malvern Hills, this piece celebrates the harmony of earth and sky—sunlit furrows, early spring growth, and the last warmth of day stretching across the fields.
Every mark has been carefully carved from a single lino block, with each layer of colour printed in succession using the reduction method. This slow, deliberate process means the edition is limited and each print is truly one of a kind.
Soft golden tones are paired with muted greens and blues, echoing the first flush of spring and the promise of longer days to come. Printed on high-quality 300gsm archival paper using oil-based inks, Golden Fields is signed, titled, and numbered by hand.
Whether you’re drawn to rural scenes, seasonal artwork, or the quiet storytelling of linocut, this print brings a feeling of calm and connection to nature into any space.
