I put some Gold Leaf on this painting(about 15%). In this painting, I am not concerned with depicting specific flowers or a literal scene, but with capturing fragments of emotion and memory emerging within the night. The dark background represents silence and the unknown, while luminous, flower-like forms appear and fade, echoing thoughts that surface briefly from within.
I built the surface through thick, expressive layers of paint, alternating between brush and palette knife. Colors collide, break apart, and reassemble organically. Accents of white and warm tones introduce rhythm and movement, allowing the painting to breathe—inviting viewers to project their own emotions into its ambiguous forms.
