This diptych reflects the delicate balance between the opposites that define our lives: light and shadow, stability and change, stillness and movement.
Created with acrylic paints on canvas (50x70 cm each), it is made using a multi-layered palette knife technique. Textured strokes and smooth transitions convey depth, while thin vertical lines seem to connect different worlds—past and future, the inner world and the external one.
The first part of the diptych is enveloped in soft beige tones with golden highlights—a symbol of warmth, nostalgia, and comfort. The second painting plunges into the depth of rich green, symbolizing growth, transformation, and progress. The golden line between them acts as a thread of fate, linking these two states of being.
This diptych serves as a reminder that every moment of life is woven from contrasts, and only by embracing them can we find true harmony.

I used a palette knife to apply the paint, creating a texture that mirrors life itself—sometimes smooth and seamless, other times rough and chaotic. This diptych is my visual meditation on embracing change and finding a golden balance."
