Another painting on the theme of iconic Britain, this piece aims to capture a strong sense of movement as the tube train hurtles down the platform and into the tunnel. For me, the London underground is an intrinsic part of life in the capital – the familiar smell, the distant rumbling of trains and the gusts of warm air all add to the magic.

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary wooden frame which has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 24 x 18 inches (60.96 x 45.72 cm).
