In this painting, I wanted to capture a moment of calm and protection — a small house standing quietly beneath two trees, surrounded by open space and fading light. The intense contrast between warm reds and cool blues reflects the feeling of retreat after a long day, when the world slows down and the only thing that matters is warmth and silence.
The house becomes a symbol of shelter, while the trees feel almost like guardians, holding the space together. This work is about stillness, solitude, and that gentle pause before night fully arrives.
