This work depicts a view of a Georgian kitchen, a crepuscular world of heat and scent and domestic stability. The light beckons us outwards. The fire crackles. Yet the room is deserted allowing us to own the space. The work, based on my own photography, is on a flat canvas board. This makes it ideal for easy framing.
