GLIMMER #12 is the most personal and introspective piece of my series The Final Glimmer — a moment suspended where light becomes both wound and witness.

There are moments when light no longer fills the room,
when what once was whole begins to fracture in silence.
I stand within that fracture — faint, transparent, almost undone —
a trace of warmth still clinging to the edges of the dark.

What remains is a trembling shape, stripped of all excess,
the bare outline of something that once loved, once lived,
and still refuses to vanish.

Each flicker here is a breath,
a memory refusing to dissolve,
a pulse that persists even when the heart is quiet.
In this dim, fragile radiance, I find what is left of me —
not what was lost, but what endures.
