Original artwork description
This is my fourth painting on the theme of black and white optical art. I like the way this painting confuses the brain, as it initially tries to work out what it’s looking at. I also like the way the eye is made to ‘jump’ as it looks around the canvas.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on stretched canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to give a semi-gloss finish and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The sides of the painting have been painted black and the painting has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting measures 24 x 30 inches (61 x 76 cm).
All paintings are professionally wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and are shipped with tracking and insurance.
