Original artwork description
I was inspired to created a Gilded Thames series. Taking gold metallic paint to block in the sky and the river, whilst keeping to my well known palette for the city. I love how the metallic reflects from different angles, and how it makes the city pop. I love how the tide was out so you can see the sandbanks at the side of the Thames. The view is a depiction from the top of the viewing platform at Battersea Power Station.
