Gilded Stillness is an original contemporary abstract diptych created as a refined dialogue between restraint and depth. I worked intuitively with layered acrylics, building soft transitions of blue, beige, stone grey and muted charcoal, while introducing delicate gold accents as subtle points of tension and light.

Each 40 × 40 cm canvas holds its own presence, yet together they form a calm, cohesive statement. Textured areas contrast with smoother passages, horizontal movement meets vertical interruptions, and fine drips add a sense of natural rhythm. The gold accents are intentionally minimal — not decorative, but structural — catching light differently throughout the day and enhancing the artwork’s quiet luxury.
