This sculpture has an abstract, airy composition, evoking spectral figures or stylised humanoid forms.
Inspired by Fernand Léger, this sculpture offers a cubist approach to the body, where volume is suggested by solids and voids, and where the raw material is in dialogue with light.
The lacy steel and bronze give the piece an almost ghostly airiness, hence the evocative title Ghosts.
The metal lace is obtained by dripping and melting the metals.
Steel base, diameter 10 cm
