Geometric Rhapsody (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Samantha Malone

“Geometric Rhapsody” is an expression of my ongoing love for geometric abstraction. I begin by drawing parallel lines across the canvas, creating a loose framework from which interlocking forms gradually emerge through color and paint rather than strict planning.

Built through multiple layers of acrylic paint, the surface has a subtle depth that encourages the eye to wander through shifting shapes, colors and connections. The work is painted entirely without tape, allowing the lines, visible brushstrokes and small irregularities to retain a natural, organic rhythm. The result is structured yet lively, with each form appearing to respond to those around it.

Bold, energetic and full of movement, “Geometric Rhapsody” has the presence to transform a room and create a striking focal point.
