Geometric Dreaming (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Samantha Malone

"Geometric Dreaming" is an exploration of my love for geometric abstraction. I begin by drawing parallel lines across the entire canvas, using them as a loose framework from which interlocking shapes gradually emerge through paint rather than strict planning. The process feels intuitive and exploratory, much like slowly solving a puzzle.

Built through several layers of acrylic paint, the surface develops a quiet depth that invites the eye to move slowly across shifting forms, colors, and overlaps. Painted entirely without tape, the lines retain a natural rhythm, and the small irregularities and visible brushstrokes give the work its own personality and sense of movement. What begins as structure slowly reveals a more organic, human quality the longer you spend with it.

This piece has the power to transform a room — creating a bold and energetic statement.
