Original artwork description
A slice of natural yellow agate, encased in a circle of broken glass with the addition of glitter, alcohol ink and epoxy resin, creates a unique work of art that reflects the beauty of natural materials and celebrates the creation of the depths of our planet. Light passing through the amethyst gives a new look on each side. The sculpture stands securely on stainless steel metal legs screwed into a solid piece of very durable wood called Ipe, Brazil walnut. The size of natural amethyst is 10 by 11 cm.
The height of the sculpture is 37 cm (15 inches), including stand. Width 23 cm (9 inches). Wooden stand covered with gold leaf and resin measuring 15 by 9 cm (4 by 6 inches)
Made from high quality epoxy resin, giving it a hard glass look and finish. A range of raw mica pigments, clear acrylic crystals, salt, alcohol inks and glitter were used to create this vibrant piece of arts and crafts. The textured 3D elements look amazing.
Resin works look really beautiful up close and you'll love looking at all the intricate details!
