This one started with intention: a single sweep of the arm, deliberate, committed. I wanted to follow a movement and trust where it led. I've always been curious about the moment just before something resolves. That pause. That held breath.
The circle doesn't close, and I chose not to force it. I placed bursts of red, yellow and orange along the path — each one considered, each one earning its place. Nothing is accidental. Everything is worked.
Pink was right for the ground. Warm, a bit unexpected, not trying too hard.
What I love about paint is that it remembers the body that made it — the pressure, the hesitation, the release. Every layer is still in there. Nothing is hidden.
I hope you look at it and feel a kind of spaciousness. Not a puzzle to solve, just an invitation to slow down and trust what you feel. That, to me, is worth more than a perfect circle.
