"The Joy Series: A Journey to Inner Happiness."
In this series of artworks, I delve into the theme of happiness and joy in unusual times when it seems that the whole world is in a state of upheaval and instability. My inspiration and concept stem from the conversations of the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu in their book "The Book of Joy," where both share wisdom and practical advice on achieving inner happiness even in a changing world.
My work is focused on bringing to light the inner joy that lies within us, regardless of the circumstances of the external world. Each canvas in the series reflects everyday scenes and moments when the most ordinary actions can become a source of deep satisfaction and peace.
A new series of paintings is the hero's path that every woman of my people goes through today. It was as if we had entered a dark forest. The monster of fear, pain, and hatred attacks us and tries to defeat us. I'm thinking about how to overcome this monster and get rid of fear and anxiety. In my paintings, this is a path through the transformation of hatred and fear into everyday simple actions. Our daily work is baking pies, cleaning the house, picking flowers, playing with the child, sewing, cooking, and much more. This way, we can control the monster and survive the most challenging times by returning to ourselves.
