Original artwork description
Gaelic Skies was created with acrylic paint and a small section of collage from some old Gaelic books I found in our newly purchased barn next door. Our families settled here on the same property in 1801 from the Scottish Highlands and at that time the Gaelic language was strong. It was almost lost in this area, but there has been a resurgence in recent years. I decided to use two of the books in my collage work.
These limited run reproductions will be printed on canvas with giclee inks and shipped in a tube.
