This is a really unique artwork, part of a new collection of small pieces with these handmade wooden frames and a series called "Futuristic Old Time Cities".. It is an acrylic and fluorescent colour painting on high quality cotton canvas. The frame is made with real wood, (so there are little beautiful signs of imperfections), by a framer in England. I have added to it just a touch of gold to make it even more special. The painting and the frame look perfect together!
I was inspired by an old phorto of San Francisco in the 1880's.
You can see the Call building in its entire beauty. I have painted my most popular characters, a Ufo, a futuristic helicopter and one of the TV people on top of a building..
