Original artwork description
From the power of a germ, the flower grows together with stem and leaf, and after a while falls apart again. In this new mixed media series I am looking for images in which bloom and decay merge into one. These are works with flowing lines of the flower stems, parts of flowers and wafer-thin paper-like leaves.
The mixed-media artworks are made on canvas, are framed and ready to hang. The physical process of adding the textures and layers of paint make each work unique.
The works are a mix of illustration, photography and various compilation techniques. From the subconscious he plays with these different elements and lets the compositions arise layer by layer. This is followed by the physical processing, which is built up with various materials. I hope people will find something new in my works everytime they look at it. There are a lot of small details hidden in the compositions.
Materials used:
canvas, paint, chalk, ink, spray paint
