Painting: Acrylic, Watercolor and Gesso on Wood.
This painting shows the works of the heavy weight artists, Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst, being thrown away, frozen in motion a second before colliding against the walls of a clinically white ethereal gallery space, in a typical Dali inspired composition and use of shadow, particularly the painting '
Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening'.
The painting also comments on the use of everyday relatively valueless objects used within pop art, which the painting itself becomes self contradictory through the use of abstract expressionism backdrop and semi photorealism depictions of these objects.
