Inspiration and Story

In childhood they are plentiful, but over time they slowly fade.
Then, suddenly, a spark appears: a smell, a voice, a familiar warmth… fleeting moments that return unexpectedly and disappear just as quickly, leaving an aftertaste of joy.


The work was created using an original multilayered oil painting technique.
Layers of paint and varnish build up a textured shabby chic aesthetic, giving the canvas a weathered, antique character.
The multilayered composition technique was also used, allowing the still life to gently transition into a landscape with trees.
