Artwork description:

In this work, created during my project "Syksy" in Finnish Lapland, I wanted to capture the frozen essence of autumn light. Through layered brushstrokes and overlapping textures, the image transforms into an abstract landscape where frost, wind, and silence merge.

The result is both delicate and powerful, a meditation on nature’s fragile beauty at the edge of winter. This piece offers a quiet, atmospheric reflection on impermanence.

“Syksy”, my third abstract project, was born in Finnish Lapland, where autumn reveals some of the most striking natural spectacles—from the vibrant "ruska" to the auroras.

I “paint” with my camera, entirely en plein air, letting light and colors transform into abstract impressionist visions. Landscape realism dissolves into a geometric, unpredictable subjectivity, until the real world itself becomes a surreal mirror.
