I aimed to capture the serene warmth of sunlight on a snowy winter day. Though the ground is covered in snow and the air is crisp, the sunlight still glows with a gentle golden warmth. I sought to express this delicate balance between cold and warmth—the most tender light of winter. The figures, bathed in soft radiance, seem to walk quietly through time, embraced by nature’s calm.
I applied the impasto technique to emphasize the texture of snow and light. The contrast between cool blues and warm yellows brings depth and transparency to the winter atmosphere. My brushstrokes are loose yet directional, evoking sunlight dancing across the snow. The overall tone is both crisp and radiant, inviting the viewer to feel warmth within the cold.
