An early outing with the Richmond Arts Society plein aire group, attempting to capture the receding soft colours of the valley below and fading into the distance from Pembroke Lodge to Richmond Park. I returned to it in the studio several times, working on creating the lattice of the Spring trees beginning to show leaves amongst their structure, at a particular point in the natural year.
