This was the first in a run of “Frida” portraits that I did awhile back… my Favorite Detail in this particular picture, was including a bunch of Lilies, similar to those portrayed often by Frida’s Husband- the painter Diego Rivera- in his own works. The canvas is painted around the edges, so that the piece can be hung, unframed.
