Why do women love Frida? She's a survivor. Despite a bus accident that caused a bus rail to go through her back, she survived. Despite the pain she was always in, she survived and made incredible art. What an inspiration! And instead of just describing the life around her, she described her inner life which was novel at the time. She will always be a mystery and an icon!
