The mountains brought people together more often than they set them apart!
The Pyrenees are a land of strength and light. Here, mountain peaks meet the clouds, and ancient rocks preserve the memory of time.
This series of plein air paintings was created through direct engagement with the mountain landscape: the play of light across the slopes, the clarity of the air, the movement of clouds, the silence of the highlands, and the grandeur of natural forms.
For centuries, these mountains have been a meeting place of roads, cultures, and human destinies. Ancient churches and monuments remain here as witnesses to different eras and traditions. In these valleys and mountain passes, people lived their lives facing not so much the borders of states as the timeless challenges of human existence. The mountains united more than they divided, becoming a space of dialogue between peoples, beliefs, and time itself.
The nature of the Pyrenees is never still. Each season brings a new state of light, colour, and atmosphere. It is within this continuous cycle of change that the unique beauty of the Pyrenees is born—living, profound, and inexhaustible
