In the heat of summer I visit a new French city, languid, the air redolent of chips and the tang of beer and wine. The shadows are lengthening, gathering at the foot of the shop fronts, and yet patches of intense light hang like squares of white linen on the golden walls. This work is vibrant and intense, a perfect souvenir of France
Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
