Original artwork description
A miniature painting from a little series of miniature wax works "Free as a Bird" on MDF wood: many layers of acrylic, wax, textures and scratches. The works are little sculptures where the sides and the back are also part of the work. The wax gives a shiny silky finish. Also, I am playing around with texts and meanings - the text of the backside is from an art magazine and says in German: "Museums will kill for this show" thinks gallery director---.
It will also look great to hang the whole series!
10x10x2cm size, ready to hang with hook on the back, sides are painted. Can also stand on its own. Signed on the back of artwork. Certificate of authenticity.
ATTENTION: This work comes with a hook ready to hang for wou. But art is a creative process so while working on this piece I spontaneously decided to turn it upside down. So the included hook is on the wrong side (upside down) and I will attach another hook at the top of the backside.
