Fragments of the Aegean dream is a contemporary mixed-media artwork inspired by the timeless beauty of Greece — its dazzling white villages, sapphire seas, ancient architecture, sunlit islands, and endless Mediterranean sky. Rather than depicting a single location, the painting weaves together different landscapes into one poetic visual journey, creating the feeling of traveling through cherished memories of Greece.
The composition is intentionally divided into numerous geometric fragments that resemble windows, reflections, or pieces of memory. Each section reveals another glimpse of the Greek coast: whitewashed houses, turquoise bays, blooming bougainvillea, fishing harbors, mountain villages, or sunlit terraces overlooking the Aegean Sea. Together, these individual scenes merge into one harmonious story, inviting the viewer to discover new details with every look.
This work represents combination of classical landscape painting and modern collage aesthetics.
