In this work, the artist explores a state of fragile balance between presence and dissolution. The figures, although recognizable, seem detached from the weight of the material world and absorbed in a breathing chromatic field. The pictorial gesture becomes a form of meditation, a writing of inner memory through color.
The tension between transparency and opacity, between warm and cold, suggests a pendulum between memory and forgetting — between the vital gesture and the silence that follows.
The painting does not depict a scene, but evokes an encounter — a suspended moment in which forms seem to seek each other and fade into each other.
